Last night I watched a Buffalo Sabres game and now today I am watching the Buffalo Bills, and there’s a common theme.  It seems like all the local advertising today, and just about all of the advertising during the Sabres game, was paid for by either health care providers, hospitals, or lawyers.  I get that lawyers have a lot of cash laying around.  I mean, hell, everyone is suing everyone else these days, and lawyers are cleaning up on the misery.  But hospitals?  How can they claim cash shortages and lobby the State for millions of dollars in corporate welfare operating subsidies and cry poor every time someone dares suggest a budget cut – and then sponsor the Sabres next power play?  Maybe y’all could cut down on the shitty commercials and lower my premiums, Blue Cross?  One more in a long series of aggravations today…
