preemption

President Bush today released a report, “National Security Strategy”, in which he outlines his ideas on security and halting the proliferation of WMD’s and other heinous weapons.  The document basically says we’ll try diplomacy first, shoot later.  But apparently not much later.  Bush reaffirms the USA’s policy of preemptive strikes against those who might do us some harm, before they actually do.

Bush also takes dead aim at Iran, giving them a real clear idea that they’re in for some bad times if they don’t get over their nuclear ambitions.  As a matter of fact, it looks like he gave every damned country that he doesn’t care for right now a big heads up.  So what does it all mean?  Sounds to me like it means Iran ought to start digging some REALLY deep holes.
